Team17 and OverBorder Studio have announced on May 2 that punishing action-RPG Thymesia will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on 9th August. As the mysterious masked protagonist Corvus, players will battle through the plague-ridden and blood-soaked streets of Hermes against the unforgiving enemies that now inhabit the once-thriving city. Tasked with uncovering the truth and saving Hermes, Corvus will utilise mysterious plague powered weapons reaved from fallen foes and use them to execute devastating attacks as he overcomes seemingly impossible odds and uncovers the truth hidden in his memories

For players wanting to test their prowess against the forces already wreaking havoc on Hermes ahead of Thymesia’s August launch, a Steam demo is available for a limited time between now and Monday 9th May.

  • Fight Your Way: Upgrade and modify Corvus’ basic movements and plague weapons to devastating effect
  • A dark and deadly world: With a sinister and gloomy backdrop, Thymesia oozes character through its environments and setting

Ready Sets Gaming is a variety streamer on Twitch with a love and passion for indie games. She has been gaming for 30+ years; and feels that a lot of indie games go back to the games that she grew up with and aren't afraid to think outside of the box to make a game. It is because of this thought process that she prefers to play a majority of indie titles, but still likes to play Triple-A titles and Retro games too. She enjoys searching through itch.io platform and looking for games that are stream friendly, and then playing them on stream to get them the exposure they may not be getting.
