It has been quite a long time since I last played a really good rhythm game. Most rhythm games have gone main stream, which is pretty sad, as I really enjoy the J-Pop music most of them had. However, with the release of Muse Dash to PC and Nintendo Switch. I feel like it takes me back to those days of when I use to play Dance Dance Revolution.

In this adorable rhythm game you play as one of the three heroines named Rin, Buro, and Marija. Once you select your heroine you runs through levels with great music while fighting enemies and bosses. As this is a rhythm game you have to fight in time with the music. I really enjoyed the music alot. If you were a fan of the old school Dance Dance Revolution or even the popular flash game known as Flash Flash Revolution (A finger based version of Dance Dance Revolution that was really popular back in the day.) Then you will without a doubt enjoy this game.

The base game comes with at 40 songs for you to play through and they are all great songs. You do have the option of purchasing the DLC which opens up a lot of new songs for the game. Each of the characters come with alternative costumes that are also unlocked during gameplay. Rin has five costumes to change into, Buro has four costumes, Marija has five costumes but be warned that some of her costumes are a little out there. There is an easy and normal mode with the option to open another mode as well. Also, one of the coolest feature for Muse Dash, is that the game is interchangeable amongst devices at least for the PC and mobile versions of the game. So you can carry your progress from PC to your mobile device and vice versa. However, I am not sure if this is the case with the Nintendo Switch version.

I would really recommend the game if you are into Rhythm Games. Muse Dash will not disappoint you at all. If you would like to play Muse Dash, you can do so on the following platform(s):

She has been gaming for 30+ years; and feels that a lot of indie games go back to the games that she grew up with and aren't afraid to think outside of the box to make a game. It is because of this thought process that she prefers to play a majority of indie titles, but still likes to play Triple-A titles and Retro games too. She enjoys searching through itch.io platform and looking for games that are stream friendly, and then playing them on stream to get them the exposure they may not be getting. Some of her favorite game genres include Platformers, Puzzlers, Role-Playing and she's recently developed a loved for Shmups.
