Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light arrives on the Xbox 360 in two weeks, but it will be arriving without a key feature.
Joystiq is reporting that the Xbox 360 version will arrive sans online co-op when it launches on August 18. The feature has been delayed until the game arrives on PSN and Steam in September, at which point it will be available across all three platforms along with voice chat functionality and online leaderboards. Local co-op will be available at launch.
“We made a decision recently because we were focusing on how we can deliver the best possible experience to the players. If we had launched with online co-op, we wouldn’t feel comfortable that it was the best possible experience for the player,” Crystal Dynamics global brand director Karl Stewart explained.
