If you don’t own an iPhone, you may never have heard of the popular puzzler Angry Birds. It’s one of the top apps currently available for the platform though, and it’s due to arrive on home consoles and handhelds soon.
The Sun has confirmed that the Boom Blox-like puzzler is on its way to Nintendo DS, PSP and PS3. No details yet, but there’s a reasonably good chance it will end up being a Mini given that it will be available for both of Sony’s consoles.
The game takes place over several episodes, with the object being to help a flock of angry birds rescue their eggs from a group of evil pigs. The birds are fired into the structures where the pigs are hiding using a slingshot, which then collapses. The challenge is to get a high rating on every level.
