Two of the bigger-name titles to be announced for the Nintendo 3DS at E3 last month came from Capcom: Resident Evil: Revelations and Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition. With reports of its “sluggish” results in the first fiscal quarter of the year comes word that neither of these titles will be out by March 31, 2011.
Today during a Q&A for investors, a question was asked about whether or not 3DS games were being included in projections for the remainder of the fiscal year. According to Andriasang, Capcom responded, “We announced Resident Evil: Revelations and Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition at E3, but these are not included in our plan for this fiscal year.”
Plans could always change, but from that answer, it sounds as if Capcom doesn’t plan on either of them coming out prior to the end of the fiscal year, which runs through March 31, 2011.
