GooPhone

Although a bit pricey at $300, Goophone’s newest wearable may make some noise in the smart-watch market. It may not look like it, but the device sports a Windows Phone-looking display but runs Android 4.0, and features full access to Google Play. The device also doesn’t require a connection to a smartphone to make things happen. It’s completely independent, and works its magic all by itself.

The device comes with 3G and can be pre-ordered starting today in both black and white. It’s a pretty big device, as you’ll see in the video below, but you’re definitely getting a lot of functionality. The screen is a 1.54-inch 240 x 240 pixel display, or 220 ppi. The processor is a dual-core MediaTek CPU at 1.2 GHz, and it has 512 MB RAM and 4GB internal storage. The camera is 2MP, and the battery should last 48 hours of stand-by time.  The watch also works on GSM and WCDMA frequencies.

If you’re willing to shell out the dough for it, this smart-watch may be the best one on the market right now in terms of functionality. Hit the break for a hands-on video.
