In an effort to make sure everyone has access to updated Google apps, the company has released the Text-to-Speech app in the Play Store. What Text-to-Speech does is it reads aloud whatever is on your screen, as long as the app being used supports it. For example, this is the app that allows Google Play Books to read your book to you. It is a very simple, handy app to use. Expect Google to continue releasing their own apps in the Play Store to combat complaints of fragmentation.
