Capcom announced that Dragon’s Dogma would be released in North America on May 22, 2012. The game is an open world action title that’s hoping to redefine the genre by introducing a team system. In the game players will have 3 AI partners known as Pawns. The interesting thing about the Pawns is that over time they will develop abilities based on the traits and actions of the player! Using either Xbox Live or PSN, players will be able to journey to The Rift and be able to share pawns with their friends. Players will also be able to borrow Pawns with specific skills needed to complete certain quests.
As far as the surprise goes, retail copies of the game will come with a token that can be redeemed to download the Resident Evil 6 Demo! The demo will be available on the Xbox 360 on July 3, 2012 and then on the Playstation 3 on September 4, 2012.
