The fact that VVVVVV is coming to the Nintendo DS sometime this year made us nostalgic for Terry Cavanagh’s incredible indie darling, and in rediscovering the title’s gravity-based challenges, we also rediscovered its straight-up phenomenal soundtrack.
Composed by Magnus Pålsson, aka Souleye, the soundtrack (officially entitled PPPPPP) is a catchy tour de force of playful melodies and haunting chiptune refrains. The whole thing is on Souleye’s YouTube Channel, so we recommend pumpin’ the volume while you check out this week’s webcomics, and vote for your favorite after the jump.
