Several key employees at Rockstar Games have extended their agreements with Take-Two, the publisher announced today.
The contracts of Sam Houser, Dan Houser, and Leslie Benzies were set to expire on January 31, 2012, a fact that some interpreted as meaning a new Grand Theft Auto would be released by then.
A press release issued today on the company’s financial results for fiscal year 2011 said Take-Two had “extended its long-term employment agreements with key members of the creative team of Rockstar Games.” Wedbush analyst Michael Pachter said on Twitter that those key members include the Houser brothers and Benzies.
