The Game Developers Conference is, to me, the single most exciting videogame event of the year. While it’s not heavily populated with the exciting announcements of E3 and the Tokyo Game Show, it is filled with fascinating discussions from the brightest minds in the industry. That’s not to say we don’t get the occasional reveal — we learned this week that Bungie is indeed working on an MMO and that a 3D Mario game is in development for 3DS. But it’s the panels where we get to hear from the likes of Yu Suzuki and David Cage that are the big draw. (And it doesn’t hurt that we get to see tech demos of what the next generation of games could look like.) If you missed anything, be sure to take a look back at all of our GDC coverage from this past week.
