After around two months of PC exclusivity, Civilization V is now available for the Mac.
The turn-based strategy game supports Steam Play on Valve’s digital distribution network, so anyone who already purchased Civ V on Steam should have free access to the Mac version. Cross-platform saves via Steam Cloud also appear to be an option.
There’s a catch, however; DLC and other features normally included with the Digital Deluxe edition on Steam are listed as unavailable for the Mac platform. So if you’re just dying to conquer the world as the downloadable Babylonians, you’d best fire up Boot Camp.
