It looks like BioWare isn’t the only one having some fun dangling scraps of a new game reveal in front of eager gamers’ faces. As Joystiq reports, Sony is also now teasing the reveal of a new PlayStation 3 exclusive, announcing an event for this mystery game that’ll take place on December 12.
Yes, that would be the Sunday after the Spike TV VGAs, which will air Saturday night on December 11, and where a number of new game announcements are expected to be made (including BioWare’s). Evidently whatever Sony has brewing, they think it above including with the rest of the VGA announcements, going so far as to give it its own announcement party.
As for any clues pointing to what to expect, Sony’s being even more miserly than BioWare. The teaser offers absolutely nothing — not even whether this’ll be a sequel (Uncharted 3, anyone?) or a brand-new PlayStation 3 exclusive altogether. So we all know what that means: we now either wait for the big reveal next month, or for another potential Sony Russia leak.
