The New Horizon of Siagarta

Farever, the latest project from Shiro Games, recently transitioned into Early Access on May 6, 2026, offering players a vibrant, handcrafted world known as Siagarta. This online co-op action RPG places you not as a “chosen one,” but as one of many adventurers in a massive, open-ended fantasy setting. The game’s aesthetic features a charming, slightly blocky art style that masks a surprisingly deep set of exploration mechanics, including gliding, climbing, and underwater diving. Unlike many modern RPGs that rely on procedural generation, every corner of Siagarta is designed by hand to reward curiosity with hidden treasures and lore.
Classes and Combat Flexibility

The heart of the experience lies in its unique approach to character progression and combat. While players choose a starting class—such as the Warrior, Mage, Priest, or Rogue—the bulk of your active abilities actually comes from your equipment. This “Arsenal” system allows for high build flexibility; for example, a Warrior might gain specific magical skills by equipping a particular enchanted sword, allowing for hybrid playstyles that aren’t strictly locked to a single archetype. Combat is dynamic and action-oriented, requiring players to master parries, dodges, and skill synergies to overcome varied enemy patterns.
Social Systems and Economy

Farever positions itself as an “MMO-lite,” supporting around 20 players per layer to keep the world feeling inhabited without becoming overcrowded. The game places a heavy emphasis on a player-driven economy and cooperative professions. There are currently six crafting skills, or “jobs,” which create strong dependencies between players. Since high-tier gear is often restricted to specific classes, finding a powerful item you can’t use encourages trading and social interaction. This creates a community-focused atmosphere where your role as a crafter or gatherer is just as vital as your prowess in a dungeon.
Current State and Content

In its current Early Access state, the game offers a solid foundation including two large regions, ten dungeons, and a level cap of 20. Players have access to mounts, pets, and a gear customization system that includes transmog options similar to Guild Wars 2. While the core gameplay loop of exploring map markers and completing objectives is well-received, the launch has faced significant hurdles regarding server performance and client-side optimization. Players have reported issues with rubberbanding and stuttering, though the developers at Shiro Games have been active in addressing these “jank” factors through rapid post-launch updates.
The Road Ahead
The future of Farever looks ambitious, with a detailed roadmap extending throughout 2026. Shiro Games plans to introduce two additional regions, new classes like the Druid and Monk, and a slow increase of the level cap to 50. Upcoming features also include more social systems like guilds and an auction house, as well as specialized activities like fishing and archaeology. As the developers refine the performance issues and expand the world of Siagarta, Farever aims to become a staple for players looking for a casual, exploration-heavy MMO experience that values player agency and cooperative discovery.
