As of today the Skype Application will be available for any PS Vita owner to download. As usual the application will allow you to make free Skype-to-Skype voice calls and video calls. Video calls will be able to take full advantage of the front and rear cameras.If you’re willing to spend a little money on Skype credit, you will also be able to make calls to landlines and mobile phones. The application will also be able to run in the background while you play games or use other applications. This means that if you get a call in the middle of playing a game, you will get a notification on the screen that will allow you to pause your game and take the call. I don’t see myself using Skype on my Vita, but I do have to say that I’m impressed at how nice the user interface for the application looks.
