Given the success of Marvel vs Capcom 3, it’s safe to assume that expectations are high for Street Fighter X Tekken (pronounced Street Fighter cross Tekken), the next big fighting crossover title from Capcom. But the big question is how will these very different fighting games really come together? Both are based on completely different fighting systems. Heck, the Tekken games use three dimensions compared to Street Fighter’s two dimensional plane (just go ahead and pretend the Street Fighter EX games never happened — you know you want to).

Earlier this year, CAPTIVATE shed some light on the mechanics of SFxT, but there’s way more to discuss. In the wake of the Sony’s E3 Press Conference I got to play an updated build of the game, and here’s what I discovered.
