Sony Computer Entertainment of Japan has announced (via 4Gamer.net) a “Christmas present for Gran Turismo 5 fans” in the form of three free cars: a Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640, a BMW M3 Coupe and a Jaguar XJ13 (above, from left to right).
These “Chrome Line” cars will be available for free on the PlayStation Store from December 24th through January 31st. No word was given on what happens after the free download ends or whether or not these presents might be offered to Gran Turismo 5 fans who live outside Japan. As it stands right now, the Lamborghini and BMW are only available as bonuses for owners of the Collector’s Edition and the Jaguar is promotional extra available via a Gran Turismo 5 Facebook app.
