In this Live Stream, Ready Set Indie Games plays Escape Simulator with DanVanDam – Steampunk DLC on PC.
Escape Simulator is a game in which you can play solo or online co-op in this first-person puzzler (best with 2-3 players, but playable with more). Investigate a collection of highly interactive escape rooms.
Move furniture, take everything up and inspect it, shatter pots, and break locks! Through the level editor, it is possible to support community rooms.
Coming out to Steam last year, Escape Simulator has to be one of the best escape room puzzle games that I have ever come across for multiplayer. Yes, you can play the game solo if you want, but to me, it really shines with its multiplayer mode. You can play with up to as many people as you want, but I always play with DanVanDam and it’s nice to see how we both work together to solve puzzles.
In the new Steampunk DLC, you get four more rooms added to solve. I will admit these puzzles were a lot more challenging and took more time, which makes it very much worth the $4.99 asking price. We get stomped sometimes, but these puzzles really left us stomped.
Another great feature of the game, are it’s community rooms which allow you to play Escape Rooms that others have created, and some of them are very elaborate and are really awesome to play. So the game does have replayability, which is good because with the community making rooms all the time, the number of rooms to solve is endless.
Overall, if you enjoy escape rooms but can’t go out to get one, I would say that Escape Simulator is a great contender and one you should consider for your online escape room needs.
