I have always been such a big fan of shoot em up games growing up as a child. Needless to say that the love for shmups has carried over into my adulthood. Before I begin this short synopsis I would like to thank both Undefined and eastasiasoft for providing us here at thedailygamepad.com with a free review copy of Habroxia.
Habroxia, developed by Undefined and published by eastasissoft, is a shmup (shoot em up) that is feature on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
The game reminds me of traditional old school shmups in terms of difficulty and is a lot of fun. My only issues where the control set-up, As I did not like the fire buttons being on the switch trigger buttons. This is due to the trigger buttons on the joycon being really small therefore making it feel a bit unnatural in my hands with the joy cons, as I have bigger hands and long fingers.
On a good note when it came to the controls you are able to switch the controls around, so that you don’t have to use the trigger buttons to fire with. After doing that, the game had a better flow for it for me.
Overall, I thought the graphics were nice. It really gave me that old school vibe and I was honored to really play Habroxia on my stream.
If you would like to play Habroxia for yourself you can pick up on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 for $7.99 USD.
