In this Gameplay Footage, Ready Sets Gaming plays Mia and the Dragon Princess on PC.
An intrepid bartender named Mia is followed in the live-action, interactive action film Mia and the Dragon Princess. Mia’s world is turned upside down when a mystery woman, who cannot speak English and is on the run from a gang of dangerous thugs, shows up at her place of employment.
I must admit that it has been a long since I last played an FMV game, but Mia and the Dragon Princess surprised me. With its cartoon-like opening, the game drew me in, and I frequently forgot that I was playing an interactive game and instead assumed I was watching a movie. The plot was so captivating that there were a few occasions when I nearly missed decisions. The acting in the game, in my opinion, was fairly decent, and the direction was well done.
As I mentioned, I almost missed the interactive sections. Fortunately, there are cues that let you know when they will appear. However, once the interactive sections appear, you just have a few seconds to choose between the two possibilities. Consequently, you are unable to plan your next move. Simply responding to events to move the game forward, in my opinion, makes it more engaging.
As you progress through the game, you may access audio clips for Seb’s audio tour, which is another intriguing feature of the title. Based on the game’s events, it appeared like these were set off. The Story Tree, which is in addition to the Audio Tour, reveals the direction your current story is taking. make sure to pick the decision that is right for you because you cannot modify the course of the story while you are playing.
Overall, Mia and the Dragon Princess is a pretty intriguing FMV and I really recommend it, especially if you are into interactive games. If you would like to play Mia and the Dragon Princess for yourself, you can do so on the PC or macOS via Steam for $12.99 USD and also on XBOX ONE and XBOX Series X/S which is currently on sale for $11.69 up until May 8, 2023 in which it will go back to the price of $12.99 USD.
