Many have experienced and enjoyed Wings of Prey. A Combat Flight Simulator. that offered many interesting features that attracted our taste buds with the simple controls, and stunning visuals. Gaijin made a sure cult classic with the content that we have experienced. Wings of Prey offers a World War 2 atmosphere giving you a realistic feel. With Wings of Luftwaffe, they added battles in Britain, Sicile, the USSR, Belgium and Germany. With the Role of a German pilot. The expansion features 10 single missions with the feature of 4 player co-op.Two new planes were added, the Ju 88 A-4, and the P-39N-0. to addon 44 Skins were added for various planes in the game. While we had lucky owned a Logitech Extreme3D Pro Flight stick due to everyone knowing that if you play a slight simulator of any type you need a big controller. Setting up the controller at first was glitchie and awkward to set up correctly. But after a few tries we were able to set everything up and shot down Germans and various country men before you can say toaster treat. The game play is what attracts you the feel of the moving clouds, the sound effects of your plane. Everything felt pure and right with this games add on. The New feature of Co-op, was based off teamwork. Directing other plots to attack this or defend that with the VOIP gave the experience more addiction for the new Add ons approach. And closing for this is that it might interest more players then mere Casual pc gamers.
The storyline along with the action was quite impressive granted seen through out many games with the German Army. Watching old clips and being able to play as most of the highlighted ships was well devised.
The 10 Missions were evenly paced. Giving you a sense of being the actual character, sorta the experience like you feel from a epic title, but in a aircraft. The voice acting thou somewhat hazy sound wise, did give a bit of realism and had a good faint sense of humor. We hope to see more for this game in the upcoming future.
We felt this game Add on was a sure hit with us, and enjoyed the content over all!
