The once delayed WiiWare version of Super Meat Boy has been canceled, Team Meat announced today on Twitter.
The development team gave no reason for the cancelation of the WiiWare version. It was originally slated to launch in November, but was reportedly delayed due to compression issues. Team Meat is looking into the possibility of a Wii retail version, but that is “looking grim,” they said.
A Super Meat Boy Special Edition for the PC will be hitting retailers in January. It will include artwork, mockups of characters who didn’t make the cut, and other extras.
