A trailer announcement for a new game called The Phantom Pain drew a lot of attention at last Friday’s Video Game Awards. Suspiciously, it looks a lot like a Metal Gear game, but Konami isn’t talking about it yet. Yesterday, IGN’s Mitch Dyer and 1UP’s Jose Otero participated in an IGN Rewind Theatre, where the two dissected the trailer and talked abut the telltale signs that point to Konami’s stealth action series.
