Ahead of its release tomorrow, Ubisoft today released the launch trailer for open-world racing game, The Crew, which gets you up to speed with what the game is all about: driving across the US in fast cars.
The Crew will be available tomorrow for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The game will not be released on PlayStation 3 or Wii U.
Networking woes have marred the releases of some big-name games so far this year (see Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Driveclub), but Ubisoft is confident The Crew–also an online-focused game–won’t suffer the same fate.
Developer Ivory Tower said last week that The Crew’s extended beta testing gives Ubisoft confidence the game will have a smooth rollout. However, the developer also acknowledges that unforeseen problems for The Crew–like any other game–could arise at release.
“The launch of any online game these days has potential issues, but I hope that players will be encouraged by our open approach,” a developer said last week. “If you had any doubts that we could pull this off, I hope that the betas proved our credentials and the game’s stability.”
