The Following game Undermine was provided to thedailygamepad.net for free by the developers/publishers of the game. I would like to thank the developers/publishers on behalf of thedailygamepad.net for providing a free copy of the game to play on my stream.

In this Live Stream, Ready Set Indie Games plays Undermine on Nintendo Switch.

Undermine is a roguelike game in which play the roles of many miners, who has been sent by the wizard into the Undermine to see what is the cause of the tremors that have been going on.

Like any traditional roguelike, the mine changes every time you enter into it as well as your miner changes. The cool thing about Undermine is any upgrades you do add to your miner does carry over to your next miner so ideally you could farm and grind and make your character beefy and then proceed through the minds.

The controls for the game were pretty solid and where smooth. The issues that I did have was mainly because Nintendo Joy Con’s have different buttons setups then most controls do, but again had nothing to do with the game as much as my bad memory of the controller buttons.

The Nintendo Switch version seemed to have had others things added to it then when I first played this cia XBOX and I loved the quality of life changes the game has added.

Overall, Undermine is a great roguelike game and I do recommend the game to those who are roguelikes and even to those who have never played a roguelike.

If you would like to play Undermine for yourself you can play it on PC, macOS, Linux via Steam or Humble Bundle, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One for the price of $19.99 USD. In addition, the game is also apart of the Xbox Game Pass program as well.

Ready Sets Gaming is a variety streamer on Twitch with a love and passion for indie games. She has been gaming for 30+ years; and feels that a lot of indie games go back to the games that she grew up with and aren't afraid to think outside of the box to make a game. It is because of this thought process that she prefers to play a majority of indie titles, but still likes to play Triple-A titles and Retro games too. She enjoys searching through itch.io platform and looking for games that are stream friendly, and then playing them on stream to get them the exposure they may not be getting. Some of her favorite game genres include Platformers, Puzzlers, Role-Playing and she's recently developed a loved for Shmups.
