The classic RPG The Legend of Dragoon is finally coming to the Playstation Network May 1st.
Originally released way back in 2000 on four disks, the game was an internal Sony project, and while not perfect, was an extremely entertaining RPG (in my humble opinion). The game’s graphics were impressive for the time, featuring tons of cinematics, in addition to fully-voiced characters. Granted, the game probably hasn’t aged all that well, but the prospect of charging up the Dragoon meter gets me a little hot.
I personally would’ve preferred an HD remake, but at this point, I’ll take what I can get. In case you’re concerned about your nostalgia possibly tweaking the reality of how good this game is, go check out the intro sequence on Youtube.
I still remember my buddy Madboy and I going through the game at the exact same time, passive-aggressively trying to spoil sequences for each other, and I’m sure we’ll have to do it again, ’cause that’s how we roll.
