Another installment of the most successful Western RPG adventure game series born. Not to discredit Ultima and its contributions to Gaming. However the most commercial and well rounded game is the Elder Scrolls franchise. Personally, I was never a hardcore fan of the series, I glanced at it, saw allot of good that people seen and mused about it on forums and in person. The world of Skyrim is based 200 years or so in the future. You are presented with allot of realm conflicts. All of which give you the option to view each perspective and take a side. With well over 80+ Hours of endless content to do, this game will be a fan favorite til the next elder scrolls comes out for sure. Now here are my footnotes of pros and cons of the game.
Great Storyline with many ways to go about it +
In todayโs terms, it takes alot to please a consumer or allow them to clearly state if a product will keep there attention spans. With a pace that keeps up with you and presented with that classic Western RPG twang. The storyline is told the same way at the same time in many ways as the player feels fit which always makes the game never played the same way.
Better combat system with a simple but effective User interface +
Altered from the past two installments. Combat was much improved and fast paced to access spells and weapons at leisure to be able to plan out tactics Vs even the strongest of foes. As this system is almost the same as the last two titles, it has a fresh feel to it that new and old fans can both settle with.
More voice actors, please –
While allot of the local lore and humor is funny to listen to, it becomes quite annoying when you hear 3 guards mention that they toke a arrow as a adventure. Is this part backbreaking? No, however we were hoping for more actors/actresses giving our there talents for this well hyped title.
Plenty of Dungeons and kingdoms to explore and loot +
With over more then counted 100+ areas that we have located, it was insane to explore crypts and dungeons filled with disappointing at times, but fine to us none the less easy Zombies and spiders.
As we ventured through, we were disappointed at most to notice that while allot of enemies roam the outer skirts of the skyrim realm, inside dungeons do not always share that same plentiful asmesphire. However, the short puzzles and traps to over come and escape is a nice touch, every now and again you are presented with a few enemies or the occasional axe trap. You can almost tell they toke great care when designing each kingdom allowing them to be expressive and be there own side of the world. All of the Jerl’s presenting as blunt or as cold as the next one.
Fantastic Music ( we want a soundtrack!):
Enuff’ Said.
Our Closing Thoughts:
A straight forward sense of the word, the game is huge.Offering allot of fun in the regards in the concept of exploring, and makes you feel like a badass doing so. However a few splinters appear openly where for some might sting in regards to glitched, buggy save files. Personally the game looks fantastic on the PlayStation 3, so the master race we call the PC cult, can take a seat in this one. We spent countless hours building our classes that toke some balancing from a huge selection of perks and grinding of assorted skills such as Smithing and cooking. The wide selection of jewel crafting, smithing, and enchanting among the good sense of the term is pretty darn overwhelming, but good. Combat is addicting to skill up and feel like a demigod with destruction spells. The ten races to pick up, and the somewhat detailed creation screen, you can not feel like yourself in no time! In conclusion, go get this game, now!
