Comedy and Gaming is always a win-win. Games such as Disk World, and many of the Lucas Arts Adventure games are among the many we remember. What this game provides is that remembrance with a new twist. You are among a few heroes:

Wilbur Weathervane

Unlike other gnomes, Wilbur shows no particular enthusiasm for technology and machinery. His heart belongs to the world of magic and adventures. Wilbur works as “chief cook and bottle washer” at a pub of a dwarf bastion in the Whitcomb Mountains. When he is given a strange ring by the gremlin archeologist MacGuffin, he receives the order to bring it to the archmage of the humans.

Nathaniel Bonnet

Nate is a human adventurer. His attitude is very cocky and narcissistic. He doesn’t want to help Ivo and Wilbur at first, but they save him from a bounty hunter and so he joins their party. He is accompanied by a furry pink creature, which he only refers to as “Critter”.

Ivo

Ivodora Eleonora Clarissa, Princess of the Silver Forest Realm, normally does not meddle in affairs of “the mortals”. She witnesses the abduction of an old gremlin professor by the Shadows and in the attempt to save him she’s drawn into their affairs.

All of the characters are very likeable. With well produced voice acting, and story to match. The whole lore and hook of this game is it takes all bits and elements of all fantasy novels or video games we know of. Then lightly pokes at them in a wholesome satire.  With many adventure games you are given a situation.

God no, not that kind of one!

Anyway was off track. When you are given a circumstance, you  must use the items around you to solve the issue, and progress forward. What sets this game apart from most of the games today is honestly not too much, other then its colorful world, and clever puzzles. ” give Monkey Banana.”  “OK”.

The controls are as simple as  clicking on the foregrounds, and backgrounds, requiring items in the area. Moving your mouse to the bottom of the screen allows you to access your items.

In Closing:

With Sharp visuals, a great storyline, and puzzles while not overly challenging, give you a decent stump. Twenty dollars price range is very fair for this game. On top of every now and again it does go on sales through most of your AAA title DLC vendors.

Snag this great gem for the PC!
