It looks like Asus is working on an unknown Asus Eee Pad, nicknamed Taurus, with a very high-end display. Including on-screen buttons, the 10 inch screen which popped up on the GFX Benchmark site has a resolution of 2560 x 1600 which brings the pixel density count to a Retina display topping 299ppi. That’s better than Apple’s 264ppi count for the 9.7 inch glass on the fourth gen Apple iPad.
The device also packs in a quad-core 1.9GHz Tegra 4 CPU. There’s a good possibility we’ll see more of the device at the IFA show in Berlin next month.
