Grand Theft Auto parent publisher’s trademark applications cover comic books and graphic novels.

Grand Theft Auto parent publisher Take-Two Interactive filed new trademark applications this week for Codex, Carnate, and Double Take.

The trademark applications filed September 30 with the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) do not cover video games.

Instead, the applications cover a range of downloadable and physical materials like comic books and graphic novels, as well as entertainment and educational services.

“We don’t comment on our trademark applications,” a Take-Two representative told GameSpot.

Take-Two’s trademark applications, nine in all, are available through the USPTO website by following the links below.

Double Take: (1,2,3)

Carnate: (1,2,3)

Codex: (1,2,3)
