Square Enix is delving deeper into the “Summer of Adventure” releases from a decade ago, confirming today that Legend of Mana will soon be joining their other back catalog titles on PSN.
Square Enix’s Shinji Hashimoto tweeted that Legend of Man will be arriving on the Japanese PSN next week. It will cost 600 yen ($6.50) and require 365MB of free space.
Along with Threads of Fate and Chrono Cross, Legend of Mana was part of a major summer release campaign that took place in 2000. It can be best described as “experimental,” combining the franchise’s traditional action RPG gameplay with the non-linear “Land Make” system, which requires players to place various locations on a map to obtain quests.
