$7 expansion available today on Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and Wii U includes new co-op missions, weapons, and gear.

Ubisoft today released the Homeland downloadable content for Splinter Cell: Blacklist, bringing new co-op missions, weapons, and gadgets to the action game. The content is available today for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and Wii U for $7.

The first new co-op mission in the Homeland DLC–Billionaire’s Yacht–tasks players with infiltrating a sea vessel either alone or with a friend. The second co-op mission is called Dead Coast and has players taking out a terrorist cell in a remote part of the Middle East.

New weapons and gear up for grabs in the Homeland expansion for Splinter Cell: Blacklist include a crossbow equipped with sleeping gas, an Upper Echelon suit that offers better protection against gunfire, and the 4E Eclipse suit, which allows Sam to carry more gadgets.

Gold, amber, and white goggles and new skins for the game’s Spies vs. Mercs mode are also included with the Homeland DLC.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist launched in August. For more, check out GameSpot’s review.
