Awesome Games Done Quick 2015, a week-long charity marathon featuring video game speedruns, has concluded with more than $1.3 million raised for the Prevent Cancer Foundation, the organization has announced on its official site.
Awesome Games Done Quick 2015’s campaign exceeded the $1 million it raised last year. At the time of writing, this year’s campaign raised $1,334,014 from 23,419 donors, with an average donation of $42.21.
A total of 164 speedruns were completed during the weeklong event, which ran January 5-11. It included a Pokemon Red/Blue in 21 minutes run, a blindfolded The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time run, a one-handed Vanquish run, and more.
