Sony unveiled a bundle intended to get gamers into the 3D world on the cheap during its E3 media briefing tonight. The bundle itself sounds fairly nice — it’ll include a PlayStation-branded, 24-inch 3D television, Resistance 3, an HDMI cable, and a set of PlayStation 3D glasses for $499, with extra glasses running you an extra $69.99.

What’s unique about this is the screen itself. By wearing a pair of 3D glasses, two players can see two completely different images. It essentially means you have two screens in one, giving you the option of playing multiplayer without the need for split-screen. It sounds incredible, so it hopefully works as well as advertised.
