Yesterday we filled you in on a rumor that Samsung’s long rumored flexible OLED display phone could launch with the name “Galaxy Round”. Today, that device may have been leaked by none other than @evleaks.
Aside from its model number (SM-G910S), no other details were given. Mr. Leaks was unable to confirm the “Round” moniker we heard Samsung could go with when the device is made official. While this particular model is headed for Korea, it’s unclear if Samsung will bring this monstrosity to other markets.
We’re not sure if we should only blame ourselves, but we had something much different pictured when we heard a “curved display”. Seems this is merely a bent Samsung Galaxy Note 3, minus the S Pen. We suppose this could help the device fit better in those skinny jeans the kids are wearing nowadays — but what do you think? Love it, or hate it?
This definitely leaves the door wide open for LG to swoop in with a better designed version of their own rumored flexible display smartphone, said the be called the LG Z. According to leaked images, LG’s device will bend a different way, more like an extreme version of the Galaxy Nexus we saw a few years back.
