Samsung announced today the release of the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 to the South Korean market. The device will be available on all three carriers in the country. To help sweeten things for their home market, Samsung is throwing in some extras for buyers of the device in the South Korean market.
The South Korean version of the Galaxy Mega 6.3 includes support for DMB, digital multimedia broadcasting, a version of mobile TV developed in South Korea. The device will also come with Samsung’s ImageON app which takes a photo and analyzes, identifies and then plays video related to the image. Samsung is also working on enabling DRM service for educational content, although that functionality will not be available until September.
The South Korean version of the Galaxy Mega 6.3 will be available for 700,000 won ($626 USD) in black or white.
