Looks like previous rumors of LG being the next Nexus manufacturer now has some competition with the latest rumors of Motorola actually being given the helm of manufacturing the next Nexus. Now while this is just a rumor, and one should always take this with a grain of salt, this does come from quite a credible source in Taylor Wimberly. If you’re not familiar with Taylor, he has a fairly good track record when it comes to rumors on previous Nexus news that he has gotten correct. According to his post on his personal Google+ page “Motorola will release a Nexus smartphone in Q4 (that is not the Moto X).”
With the specs of the LG G2 looking really good, I was actually fairly excited of LG again being the manufacturer of Google’s next Nexus. Although I would be lying to say I wasn’t at the least bit intrigued with Motorola finally being given the chance of making a Nexus device, especially since Google owns the company.
