Following word of something called Biohazard: Revival Selection in Japan, Capcom has confirmed that both Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Code: Veronica X will be re-released on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network this fall in North America.
Both games will feature upgraded visuals (as seen in the side-by-side comparison images above and below). If nothing else, the ports don’t look nearly as blurry as their older counterparts, which is a welcome change.
Code: Veronica was originally released on Dreamcast in 2000 before being brought to PlayStation 2 and GameCube. Veronica X was an updated version of the original game that featured improved graphics, new cutscenes, and minor changes to a few other aspects. Resident Evil 4 first came out in 2005 for GameCube and PlayStation 2 and has since been ported to a number of platforms, including iOS.
