Ubisoft is hopping on the motion control bandwagon with R.U.S.E., the company’s upcoming strategy game. Eurogamer attended a press event today in London, where the developers revealed that R.U.S.E. will support Sony’s PlayStation Move controller on the PlayStation 3.
“I wasn’t sure if it was just going to be a gadget,” senior producer Mathieu Girard said of Sony’s new motion-sensing gadget, “but it turns out it’s a very cool and natural controller. We’re very excited about it.”
The Move’s innate pointing capabilities should come in handy for things like selecting units and ordering troop movements around the map. Girard even went as far as claiming that R.U.S.E. players will have “the most enjoyable experience” with Move, though he conceded that the PC version will still be “the most efficient”.
