There’s a reason autorun action games are very popular on mobile devices, in that they require minimal input and still deliver an exciting experience. Some games merely ask players to jump, others employ gadgets like jetpacks. Meanwhile, Punch Quest, true to its name, is all about punching.
Like, there’s so much punching that you haven’t seen this much punching before. That’s how much punching there is, and it’s all accomplished solely by tapping the left and right sides of the screen.
Punch Quest, a collaboration between RocketCat Games and Madgarden, features randomized, branching dungeons and promises “move customization, and explosions, and you can turn into a gnome that fights bees.” Frankly, we can’t think of a single upcoming AAA game that offers all that. Punch Quest is slated to arrive this Fall on iOS.
