The weekly Media Create sales figures are in (via 4Gamer.net) and as new titles leapt to the top of the Japanese software chart, new models and price drops stirred hardware sales.

God Eater Burst, a new upgraded edition of the popular PSP game, took the top slot with 263,150 copies sold. That’s a slight step down from the original game’s 295,405-unit debut back in February but a strong indication that the Monster Hunter formula continues to pay off for PSP developers in Japan.
