As the Playstation Vita has released already in Japan, the rest of the world still has about a month until Sony’s next handheld comes to local store shelves. If you want to pay at least five-hundred dollars and attempt to read Japanese (until you change the language settings) you could get it now.

Well, you might have something to tide over your appetite until the February release. Sony didn’t really announce it, but they have opened the “Vita Hill Social Club”. While this sounds like a video game version of a golf club, you won’t have to get your snob on as you’ll be in good company with your fellow gamers.

Open currently in San Francisco near the 101, the first Vita Hill Social Club is open and gamers are open to walk in whenever they want. Obviously, they won’t likely be open at 2am; but as they don’t have the hours posted on the Playstation Blog post, I’m guessing they’re sticking to traditional business hours.

More locations are going to open up across the country before the release in 6 weeks. For more information on these locations, read part of the original post below:
