If you are tired of running through a temple full of ruins, developer Fixpoint Productions hopes to help you out with a new game called Pivvot. Described as a “strategic avoidance” game, Pivvot employs a simplistic, minimalistic style that masks a disturbingly challenging game. Gameplay involves a path the player follows with a dot connected to the path via a pivot point. The object of the game is to swing your dot around the pivot point to avoid the obstacles and complete challenges. Five game modes are available including:
• Voyage: Travel through increasingly challenging levels of obstacles
• Endless: Survive as long as possible while the game gets progressively faster
• Expert Voyage: Uncover new, more challenging obstacles
• Expert Endless: Avoid the expert obstacles as the increasing speed tests your limits
• Berserk: The ultimate challenge: chaotic, frenzied, and unrelenting
Fixedpoint Productions says the paths are generated on the fly, so every game is different, which means no memorizing a pattern. Check out the screen shots and video of gameplay below. If you want to try Pivvot, you’ll have to pay $2.99 at the Google Play store using one of the links below and maybe just a little bit of your frustration reserve.
