In this Live Stream, Ready Set Indie Games plays Outshine on PC.

Unleash your powers against your oppressors in this arcade, fast-paced typing game. Avoid traps, destroy enemies, defeat bosses to seek your revenge, and rush to the top of the leaderboards.

Outshine is a very unique typing game, in which you have to type words to defeat enemies. Outshine comes from the creators of Epistory and Nano tales, which are also great typing games. I really like that Outshine added a challenge to it by allowing you to move your character who is continuously running. Each new word destroys not only enemies by obstacles as well. The game is made for those who are expert types as well as those who are a little slow at typing. I also enjoyed that it showed how many words a minute you type during each checkpoint of the level and at the end of the level.

Overall, a very fun game, and if you’re looking for a challenging but fun typing game. I highly recommend giving Outshine a play.

If you would like to play Outshine for yourself, you can do so on the following platform(s):

Ready Sets Gaming is a variety streamer on Twitch with a love and passion for indie games. She has been gaming for 30+ years; and feels that a lot of indie games go back to the games that she grew up with and aren't afraid to think outside of the box to make a game. It is because of this thought process that she prefers to play a majority of indie titles, but still likes to play Triple-A titles and Retro games too. She enjoys searching through itch.io platform and looking for games that are stream friendly, and then playing them on stream to get them the exposure they may not be getting. Some of her favorite game genres include Platformers, Puzzlers, Role-Playing and she's recently developed a loved for Shmups.
