We’ve been getting more and more information on the Nexus 5, and don’t expect the news to slow down anytime soon. After we reported on the fact that multiple battery options will be available, we are now receiving information regarding the device’s release date and pricing from Japan.
Note that since this information is from Japan, this does not necessarily mean that the same will be true in the United States. Here’s what we have:
The device will be released on November 14 for 44,600 yen (about $460) for the 16GB model, and will be 49,800 yen (about $513) for the 32GB model. (This release date may be sooner for the US model.) Also, keep in mind that because this is coming from a third-party retailer, the price will most likely be lower direct from Google.
Overall, the Nexus 5 should have a 5-inch 1080p display, a quad-core 2.3GHz Krait 400 CPU, 2GB RAM, an 8MP rear camera, and a 1.3MP front shooter. Once again, the internal storage shouldn’t be exapandable.
More news is obviously coming, so stay tuned.
