After years of marketing Code Freak cheat devices for handheld consoles, Japanese accessory maker Cybergadget has announced a new model for the PlayStation 3 (via Hachimaki). Naturally, they don’t use an inflammatory word like “cheat” in the description. Officially, this is a “walkthrough tool” and it will cost 7,800 yen (approximately $93.58 USD). The product page contains bilingual warnings that this is not an officially licensed Sony product.

Listed as “coming this winter”, the new Code Freak will include cheats for “over 50 titles” like Final Fantasy XIII and Demon’s Souls. New codes can be downloaded from the Cybergadget homepage via free PC software.
