I’m not going to lie… I have an obsession with Pokémon. Its to the point that I’ve gotten a Pikachu tattoo on my arm and I know I’ll be getting others soon. So, it should come as no surprise that whenever a new Pokémon game is released I rush out and buy it. A few weeks ago I got wind of an upcoming announcement to reveal the next game in the series. After weeks of waiting in anticipation the game was finally announced!
The next game in the Pokémon series will be titled Pokémon + Nobunaga’s Ambition and will be released in Japan sometime in the Spring of 2012 for the Nintendo DS. The game will be a crossover between both series and so far it appears as if it will be keeping to the strategy RPG game play of Nobunaga’s Ambition. If this is true it will be an interesting change for the Pokémon franchise. It has also been revealed that the starter Pokémon will be an Eevee. Unfortunately, that’s all the information we have for the game. Check out the source below for screenshots of the game.
The only downside to all of this is that most of the crossover games released in Japan never make it to United States. I can only hope this isn’t the case with this game.
