Neo Geo Station, an emulator “service” for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable, will be launching in Japan on December 22nd with 10 titles, SNK Playmore announced today. All games are priced at 900 yen (approx. $10.91 USD) for PS3 and 700 yen ($8.48) for PSP.
As evidenced by the above screenshot of The King of Fighters ’94 (courtesy of 4Gamer.net), these will be straight “as-is” ports of Neo Geo titles rather than HD re-releases. SNK Playmore further insisted that games would retain all original bugs to maintain the experience.
