Clancy Brown, the voice actor behind the penny-pinching restaurant boss Mr. Krabs from Nickelodeon’s hit animated show Spongebob Squarepants, has joined the Warcraft movie.
Legendary Pictures announced the news on Twitter this week. Brown also appeared in The Shawshank Redemption and Starship Troopers. Brown will be joined by Daniel Wu (Protege, The Banquet), the second new actor confirmed this week for a role in the Warcraft film.
The Warcraft movie will be an origins story, though neither Legendary nor Blizzard have provided any details regarding who the actors will play. Previously confirmed actors for the Warcraft film include Captain America‘s Dominic Cooper and Paula Patton from Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, among numerous others.
Production on the Warcraft film is slated to begin next month, before the movie comes to theaters on March 11, 2016.
