A PlayStation Move-focused Little Big Planet spin-off is on the way next month courtesy of Media Molecule and Tumble developer Supermassive Games. Following recent leaks by the Australian Classification Board, Sony made the official announcement on the PlayStation blog this morning.
Called Sackboy’s Prehistoric Moves, the upcoming platformer features your typical, four-player Little Big Planet levels, only with a slight twist: They also require a Move-equipped player to tackle certain puzzles (i.e. flipping switches, blowing up crates, and moving platforms).
The game will be available first to PlayStation Plus subscribers, who will receive it for free on December 7. Then, one week later, everyone else will be able to purchase Sackboy’s Prehistoric Moves for $5.99 on the PlayStation Store. Finally, the game will also be included on the Little Big Planet 2 disc when it releases on January 18 of next year.
